Travelzoo has an immediate opening for a Business Development Associate . This is an inside sales role responsible for positioning Travelzoo's products as viable advertising solutions to high-quality clients within the local vertical.
Our Business Development Team acquires the content and negotiates the deals our members love. By studying market research, following industry trends and learning the needs of our members, they develop strategic sales plans, build relationships and ultimately deliver outstanding deals to our members.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Generate leads for deals which will meet Travelzoo standards and delight members
• Build and foster relationships with potential clients to introduce Travelzoo advertising solutions
• Campaign on behalf of Travelzoo’s members worldwide to source the very best deals
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, through account development and new business
• 4-year college degree
• 1-2 years of inside sales experience; call center experience a plus
• Excel in a culture of yes, highly energetic and coachable
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
