Travelzoo is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Beijing office. Our sales team acquires the content and negotiates the deals our members love. By studying market research, following industry trends and learning the needs of our members, they develop strategic sales plans, build relationships from within the entertainment and leisure industry and ultimately deliver outstanding deals to our members.
This position is based in Beijing
Responsible for producing sales proposals and presentations for existing and new accounts, building and maintaining relationships, aligning client’s sales strategies by positioning Travelzoo’s products as a viable target market and successfully partnering with clients to meet their sales and marketing objectives
Generate sales leads by checking Airline & Tourism Board and local market publications, websites, etc.
Proactively approach travel agencies, cruise companies and airlines for business opportunities.
Report campaign results and prepare market case studies to your clients. Assess their needs and identify potential opportunities for next successful sale
Find new ways to work with your current and prospective customers through innovative thinking and present solutions to their business needs
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals, through account development and new business
Bachelor degree educated in business or related discipline.
Above 3 years of solid experience with a leading media company in direct sales with strong connection with Travel Agencies, Airline & Tourism Board network.
A successful track record in sales.
