Travelzoo is seeking a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate understands operational and financial metrics that are critical to the business. The Business Analyst provide General Manager’s insight in helping our business units to improve the efficiency and effectiveness performance in local operations in Asia Pacific, help Company to make more informed decisions on where to invest in success.
The Business Analyst will have a strong background in data analysis using Business Intelligent tools and experience in transforming data into actionable insights. The position will have an opportunity to think creatively about the performance that drives success and profitability. This position reports to the General Manager based in Australia in Asia Pacific and works very closely with all General Managers in Asia Pacific.
This position is based in Sydney.
Responsible for creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business.
Work closely with General managers of individual location to set up business directions and improve the revenue performance.
Conduct strategic data and information, trend and scenario analysis, and other business analytics in support of strategic planning and execution.
Preform historical, real time, weekly & quarterly analysis and business forecasting & planning.
A project holder for all business improvement projects, to work and propose the timeline, agenda and follow up the implementation.
Communicate and work closely with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle to ensure successful delivery of business projects.
Improve the sales business performance by evaluating sales operations procedures, sales flow, order/IO etc.
Review business performance for all products in each location, analysis the market trends.
Bachelors or Master´s Degree
Good understanding of financial reporting, operational metrics or metrics used in analytics
Demonstrated experience in data visualization and data discovery using different data sources
Knowledge of basic e-commerce and site tracking methodology
Proficient with Google Analytics
Good understanding of the digital market in APAC
Experienced in using salesforce would be a plus.
