Here's where you come in:

We are currently seeking a Building Energy Analyst to join our team as a member of our growing Technical Services Mountains division. 


You're great at:

Project Support 

  • Analyse and report on energy performance contract projects and facility improvement projects  
  • Assist in the development of Measurement and Verification (M&V) plans and budgets for energy projects. 
  • Develop and deliver M&V reports 
  • Document and report on financial performance of projects.  
  • Conduct pre- and post- measurements and construction surveys. 
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources for collection of performance data. 
  • Generate reports as required to document project and service performance. 



  • Document “as-built” conditions and associated client benefits after project completion; update energy calculations, accordingly 
  • Data analysis (utility usage and Building Automation System operational patterns) to demonstrate ongoing savings from energy conservation measures. 



  • Proficiency in technical writing. 
  • Strong skills in interpersonal verbal and written communication. 
  • Client facing presentation and business development acumen. 


Perform other duties as assigned. 


What we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science/engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience required. 
  • Three years’ experience with International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) required 
  • Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credentials preferred 
  • Microsoft Office Suite competence required – Excel (advanced skill); Word, PowerPoint and Outlook (intermediate skill) 
  • Knowledge of energy calculations, and industry standard efficiency improvement measures required.
