Impark is currently looking for a ERP Program Manager to work at our Vancouver Corporate Office location.
Responsible for the successful implementation and sustainment of an Enterprise Resource Planning solution. This includes full project life cycle management from preparation of business cases to post implementation. This role will build strong client relationships with the business areas to define and deliver on the goals of the project(s) and provide direct oversight to vendors and consultants/contractors to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, with quality and meeting the business requirements. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contracts/consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This role will apply proven communication, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve project issues, mitigate risks, facilitate decision making and build and engage the ERP project team and stakeholders.
RELATED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
7+ Years Project Leadership and Management experience managing large-scale, multi-year, complex Information Technology implementations in a matrix environment
5+ Years of experience in formal Project and Change Management methodologies and approaches
5+ Years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning implementations with either Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV and/ or AX (preferred), Oracle or SAP a strong asset
3+ Years of experience managing a virtual team (geographically diverse)
2+ Years of experience with leading ERP Testing Phases and managing vendor scope of work
Experience implementing/upgrading/supporting Financial Systems
Diploma/Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field is recommended
Project Management Professional Certification is strongly preferred
Certificate/Diploma specific to Project Management is strongly preferred
Formal Project Management: Full project life cycle planning, monitoring, control, communication and documentation. Activities performed by this role includes, but not limited to, development and delivery of progress reports, facilitating project status meetings, issue, risk, decision and change control management and escalation, creation of project outputs such as scope statements, plans, schedules, charters and presentation.
Project Team Management (Human Resources Management): Participate in selection, coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising of project team members and contractors. Engage team members to take positive actions, take accountability for their assigned work, to work as a team and foster collaboration. Provide input/recommendations on performance assessments.
Project resource planning, allocation and management to achieve project goals and objectives.
Communication Management: Act as a liaison with all stakeholders. Effectively communicate and manage project expectations to cross-organization team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion including external partners. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
Project Accounting: Management of project budgets and preparation of financial reports
Project management of Procurement initiatives such as Requests for Information Processes (to vendor selection), procurement of Goods and Services to support the project
Led the creation of Change Management and Quality Assurance Strategies and Plans and ensure they are executed accordingly
Oversight of vendor managed projects to ensure success and alignment to Impark’s goals and objectives
Results-oriented and customer-focused with demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers to drive results
Comfortable working in a matrix environment
Comfortable and effective in eliminating barriers and working across organizational, functional boundaries to achieve corporate objectives.
