Republic (RPS) is looking for a full-time Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst for our corporate office in Chattanooga, TN.


Shift/hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday- Friday (with flexibility to respond to client needs and special events)


The FP&A Analyst will provide support to the leadership teams of Republic Parking’s Operations, sales, finance, and other departments. The FP&A Analyst will play a vital role in performing data analytics about the company’s operations to derive actionable insight to enhance our ability to operate our business more efficiently and effectively.


As part of the finance organization reporting to the Controller and also interacting with the CFO, the FP&A Analyst will be responsible for supporting the processes, tools and analytics that are used to manage the company’s business operations. Central to this role is the analysis and correlation of historical performance data, along with market data to ensure maximum impact on operational efficiency. The maintenance and evolution of these key processes, systems and analytics will be important to improving internal decision-making and creating actionable plans to improve our business operations.



Key Responsibilities


  • The candidate will interact with many departments, each have different vantage points and requirements
  • The successful candidate must show they thrive and excel working within a fast pace, active environment and can handle the needs of many internal customers.
  • Provide operational support for internal resource planning, cost optimization, deal development and revenue maximization.
  • Working with accounting, finance, sales, operations and IT to develop value-add reports
  • Gain a deep understanding of various business processes, systems, and quality checks across the organization to identify weaknesses/gaps and to recommend and implement solutions and improvements to enable the fast, consistent, and accurate execution of sales and service processes.
  • Document processes and procedures to make functions repeatable and scalable
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report market and sales data to increase revenue and service performance.
  • Gather data from a variety of sources and distill it into a usable format.
  • Establish standard templates for efficient and clear communication.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in operations/sales analyst role is preferred but not a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Must be happy working in a collaborative team environment
  • Possess strong organizational skills – history of successfully managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to think creatively and work with management to identify new opportunities to improve business processes or functions
  • Experience with data management and reconciling data across several sources.
  • Able to work independently and provide creative solutions
