Account Manager - Personal Lines

The Account Manager develops and maintains customer relationships with the primary objectives of creating an excellent client experience; ensuring the successful delivery of AB Phillips total risk, insurance and service solution; and maximising revenue of the portfolio thus contributing to AB Phillips’ new business growth objectives. The Account Manager also services an existing portfolio of clients by providing professional insurance and financial services designed to identify and fulfil client needs.

If you have the following experience and qualifications or even if you don’t have the core industry qualifications yet and you are willing to learn and obtain them when you start, we would love to hear from you:

  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 in Insurance Broking qualifications (desirable)
  • A Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance broking) (desirable)
  • A proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve beneficial outcomes
  • Being pragmatic and logical in approach
  • Having well-developed communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral)
  • Be results driven and focused, with the ability to achieve outcomes with minimal direct management
  • Can work confidently with all levels of management and stakeholders
  • Be passionate about providing quality service that supports and develops others
  • Take a consultative approach to all dealings where required
  • Possess high levels of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality
  • Display a lead by example approach and have initiative and drive to self-motivate and motivate others
