Sovereign is looking for a motivated summer student with a strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn, for our Commercial Underwriting Department in Toronto. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to improve their skills and gain valuable work experience while providing administrative support within the office. This position will commence May 1, 2019, through August 2019.
Providing administrative support to the underwriting team which includes:
Entry of policy or client information into the system
Basic file set ups
Filing, printing or scanning as needed
Open, sort and process incoming mail.
Working cooperatively and collaboratively with others, providing backup, assistance or support as needed.
Fulfilling other general support, project work or administration duties as required.
Frequent movement, moderate exertion and the ability to lift or move up to 20 lbs is required.
Repetitive, transactional tasks where accuracy is essential.
Detail oriented work that requires a high degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.
