Our experienced Charlotte team members deliver unmatched business consulting and IT consulting solutions. We’re looking for a Business Development Lead to join our growing team.




In this role, you will:


  • Develop strategy to encourage the office's growth, alongside the existing leadership team.
  • Play a connector role for people in our community and build relationships.
  • Evaluate potential market opportunities and competitors to ensure we are maximizing revenue and selling effectively against competitors. Working closely with other business unit/national practice leads to ensure client requests/demands are being addressed and incorporated.
  • Collaborate with potential clients in order to match the appropriate solution/technology to their requirements.


A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:


  • Minimum 3 years local consulting/technology service (not product) sales experience is required 
  • 5 to 10 years of total consulting experience required 
  • Management consulting and technology industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Creating unmatched experiences, for both clients and employees, is what we do. You should revel in doing the unexpected and extraordinary for others.
  • A high level of initiative, self-motivation and entrepreneurship and a demonstrated ability to break into new accounts and grow them.
  • Must have a strong, established network of existing Charlotte area relationships and a demonstrated record of creating and maintaining a strong customer base of ongoing relationships.
  • Ability to lead inspirational presentations in a client-facing environment in an adaptive style.
  • Must have prior experience selling professional services in Charlotte
  • Prior consulting experience is preferred, not required
  • Emphasis on developing deep relationships with clients, earning the role of “trusted advisor.”  This is not a transactional role where we are looking to do business with 50+ clients
  • Actively engaged in giving back to the community
