Our experienced Charlotte team members deliver unmatched business consulting and IT consulting solutions. We’re looking for a Technical Architect to join our growing team.

 

 

 

About this role:

 

 

You should be a well-rounded IT Leader with 15+ plus years of hands-on experience designing & delivering technology solutions. Have a strategic mindset to understand business needs and solve problems by introducing and implementing effective and advanced technologies. Be able to work with all levels from the C-Suite down. Have extensive knowledge of cloud technologies & application architecture full software development stack, supporting tools and technologies, design and development and integration of technology operations in Hybrid scenarios. Ability to adapt to new and emerging technologies and business objectives as well as to assist leaders in mapping out goals and tasks.   Be passionate about collaborating with clients to deliver technology solutions that drive business outcomes  to join our growing team

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Client Delivery
    • Keep your skills sharp across a range of modern technologies while leading the delivery of solutions that integrate multiple offerings to provide customized client solutions.
    • Equip the delivery team to use the methodologies and tools you’ve determined are best for the project while coaching your team members to develop new skills.
    • Ensure on time and on budget delivery is the norm.
  • Business Development & Thought Leadership
    • Serve as a single point of contact for pursuits that span multiple Centric offerings.
    • Drive sales conversations forward by bringing solutions to life in a way that demonstrates how they will solve the specific client concerns.
    • Assemble and lead a pursuit team to complete the technical components of an RFP.
    • Work alongside pursuit lead to craft RFP response or SOW including overall project approach, core deliverables, timelines and financial estimates.
    • Provide thought leadership that spans the Centric offerings as well as current & future technology trends.
  • Practice Management
    • Provide a “Technical Voice” to Centric Charlotte leadership.
    • Support recruiting by conducting interviews and preparing interview materials /questions for tech roles.
    • Be a leader in driving a broader tech community within Centric and help align the company around the technical offerings most important for our clients.
    • Participate in networking / technical communities of practice in the greater Charlotte community.
    • Ensure consistency of delivery methodologies and inclusion of collaborative touch points.
    • Serve as a mentor and role model with a passion to build a thriving community of technologists across Centric.
  • Drive Innovation
    • Be instrumental in driving innovation efforts from idea to prototype.
    • Participate in funding decisions and help deliver funded innovation ideas.
    • Stay informed on the latest technology trends and “the next big thing.”

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

 

 

  • Certifications – Microsoft Certifications a plus
  • Travel – Some occasional travel required
  • Must be local to Charlotte or the Charlotte Metro area

We are looking for someone who has deep understanding of foundational technologies and a proven ability to quickly come up to speed with new technologies as needed to create unmatched experiences for our clients.
