CARE USA seeks an enthusiastic, hardworking, and analytical intern to assist the 75th anniversary campaign director with all administrative tasks needed to facilitate the management, creation and execution of CARE's 75th Anniversary.

Responsibilities:

  • The intern will be part of a dynamic team, reporting directly to the Campaign Director and have ample opportunity to learn about CARE's work, interface with CARE staff across the organization, and contribute meaningfully to this milestone moment in CARE's history.
  • The intern will work on a variety of day-to-day tasks such as research projects, preparing information for use in meetings and any other tasks or special projects requested, to support the Campaign Director.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable writing and critical thinking skills
  • Computer skills : Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Able to work independently
  • Attention to details
  • Effective communicator
  • Strong sense of prioritization and organization
  • Executive presence
  • Flexible
  • Can work under pressure and change course quickly

Suggested timing:  February 7, 2020 - May 31, 2020, 20 hours per week.  Possibility of extending into a summer internship.
