CARE seeks an experienced paralegal to join the national planned giving team. This position requires someone with experience in estates and trusts.  This position manages all incoming estate work including bequests, trusts, IRA rollovers and beneficiary designations, etc.  The person must be able to work with planned giving officers to create specific gift illustrations, present value calculations, and other work as collaboratively to provide guidance and support whenever needed.  CRM experience required, Salesforce experience preferred. It is an exciting time in CARE's history and this is a unique opportunity for the right person.

  • Undergraduate degree required, some law school preferred or combination of paralegal training and experience.
  • 3+ years working in legal estates and trusts
  • Advanced written and verbal communications
  • Charitable gift planning experience preferred.
  • Understanding of estate and trust law as well as charitable gift planning techniques.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a significant workload
