The Security Supervisor Directs security staff on a shift basis in the absence of the Security Supervisor.Works in conjunction with the Security Supervisor to maintain order and safety for all persons on property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Knowledgeable of all duties of the security offer, dispatcher and supervisor.
Follow and comply with gaming rules and regulations regarding the process and follow through of intoxicated patrons and/or employees.
Plans and schedules all security activities for the shift in conjunction with or in the absence of the Security Supervisor.
Conducts thorough investigations, questions witnesses/victims/suspects and any follow up necessary to complete accurate and precise incent reports in a timely manner.
Assists agents and/or officers from the DCI, OPD and/or security supervisor in the apprehension and detention of suspects in violation of Lakeside policies and procedures.
Assists with medical incidents.Must be trained, skilled and certified in First Aid, BLS and AED.
Assigns work to Security Supervisors and establishes priorities.
Accesses drop boxes, soft count and coin rooms, chips, markers, fill slips and other sensitive areas.
Assures optimum guest satisfaction through the delivery of excellent customer service.
Investigates accidents, injuries, lost property, property damage, etc. Sees to it that the required reports are completed to document the incident.
Enforces company policies as they pertain to guest and employee conduct on the premises. Documents infractions and advises management where appropriate.
Responds to all emergencies such as fire, injuries, property damage, etc. Directs and/or assists with evacuations if required. Investigates and completes reports concerning the same.
Ensures the enforcement of state gaming laws including (but not limited to) the identification and removal of underage persons from the casino floor.
Initiates formal evictions of disorderly persons.
Responds to and/or directs the company response to requests for medical assistance. Provides assistance consistent with company policy and the skill level and certifications of available personnel.
Coordinates and supervises crowd control for special events.
Must be able to drive company vehicles.
To drive company vehicles, candidate must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver license.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED. Prior Security Experience Preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License. Must have a valid Driver License. Must be able to obtain Company sponsored First Aid, BLS and AED certification.
