SUMMARY: To protect all assets of the company and provide a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrols assigned areas and assists guests and team members as needed.
Examines doors, windows, gates, etc. to ensure they are secure.
Enforces company policies as they pertain to guest and team member conduct on the premises.
Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, unlocked doors, etc.
Responds to all emergencies such as fire, injuries, property damage, etc.; investigates and completes reporting the same.
During serious emergencies, may be assigned to assist in the evacuation of the facility.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
Escorts casino team members during pit drops, slot drops, jackpot verifications, fill verifications, pit fills/credits, etc. Transports chips, currency and tokens to the different requesting tables/booths.
Accepts, logs and stores lost and found articles.
Responds to verbal and/or physical altercations throughout the property and applies appropriate measures to resolve the situation.
Responds to requests for medical assistance when required and renders first aid consistent with company policy and the individual officer’s skill level and medical certification.
Follows all written policies and procedures and IRGC regulations.
Assists with investigation of incidents, questions witness/victims when needed and reports findings to Security Supervisor.
Provides escorts for transactions and procedures including money, cards, dice, sensitive keys.
Drives guests and employees to various destinations.
Assists DCI Agents when requested to do so.
Must be able to drive company vehicles. To drive company vehicles must be 21 years of age or older and have valid driver license free of reckless driving for 5 years.
Must be able to obtain First Responder Certification through company provided training.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Prefer to have at least six months security, law enforcement or military experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain and Iowa Gaming License. Must have a valid Driver License.
