JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY:       

The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for ensuring overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans are realized.  The Human Resources Manager position will also include facilitation of new hire orientation, onboarding of new employees, and leadership development along with internal communications and overseeing employee events. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Continually improves the new hire onboarding process and partners with property leaders on departmental onboarding, measurement and tracking.
  2. Ensures all applicants and new hires are provided a positive, informative and seamless experience.
  3. Serves as a valued HR Business Partner in assisting management with leadership coaching and learning needs.
  4. Ensures a smooth employee exit process to include exit interviews.
  5. Creating and revising job descriptions and compensation proposals.
  6. Creates actionable strategies regarding employee retention.  
  7. Ensures leadership completes any corporate training as needed and that Title 31 is completed by all required employees.
  8. Responsible for internal communications to employees and vendors.
  9. Oversees all employee events and reward and recognition programs.  
  10. Assists with property annual review process.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three years of Human Resources Generalist experience, College Degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  Worked in management positions within a Human Resources function and ability to facilitate classes as required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

NGCB Gaming Registration is required

A Driver License is required
