The Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of servers and network devices and performing the daily routines associated with maintaining and backing up critical company data and services.  The position may also responsible for enterprise patch management.


  • Maintains servers, peripherals and associated equipment.
  • Maintains inventory and documentation of all server equipment, peripherals, and supplies.
  • Maintains server software and assist in software and systems development.
  • Maintains effective anti-virus and security on all servers and network equipment.
  • Maintains daily system data backups and ensures backup policies and procedures are met.
  • Assists computer users and customers with computer software and hardware problems, including assisting with the repair and maintenance of casino systems and network.
  • Makes sound judgment calls, works independently as needed and assists in supervisory decisions related to computer systems and software.
  • Adds and maintains server, network access rights, adding users, and securing data on the network according to departmental and company policies.
  • Assists in making recommendations for server equipment and upgrades.
  • Maintains documentation of user instructions and helpdesk troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Identifies problem areas and recommend any changes and corrections to Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of department work areas and computer system areas and equipment.
  • Perform updates on network switches and firewalls.
  • Ensures proper appearance and grooming standards are followed.
  • Attends all company required training.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.
  • Meets company attendance requirements.
  • May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Will be required to be part of an on call rotation.


  • Required two year degree in computer engineering, IT, or degree related to the electronics field with the emphasis in computer technologies, or equivalent of two years working in the computer field or technology department specializing in computer systems hardware/software repair and customer service.
  • Required knowledge of installation, repair and development of Microsoft operating systems and installation and repair of Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Must have A+ Certification in computer repair or equivalent knowledge thereof.


Requires valid drivers license.
