Executive Housekeeper

Primm Nevada

The Executive Housekeeper directs and controls housekeeping operations and staff, co-ordinates between housekeeping crews to inspect assigned areas to ensure standards are met and coaches and motivates the Housekeeping Team.


  • Establish and/or implement operating procedures and standards. 
  • Plan and coordinate the daily activities of the Housekeeping team. 
  • Coordinate inspection and/or inspect assigned rooms to ensure standards are met. 
  • Apply management skills, such as hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance. 
  • Complete financial management tasks, such as setting and adhering to a budget.
  • Assigns work to cleaning personnel and trains personnel in housekeeping duties.
  • Adjusts guests' complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
  • Ensures requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements are started and  completed.
  • Records inspection results and notifies staff of inadequacies.
  • Implementation and enforcement of Affinity Gaming policies and procedures in regard to safety guidelines, proper chemical usage, handling of bio-hazard materials, injury prevention, etc.
  • Effectively read, write, and speak in English both in person and over the phone.
  • Function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with extreme care and particular attention to detail.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and sound judgment with effective decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Possess the knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Guest Service Center, Engineering and Security Services staff for issues, problems and/or solutions.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with Team Members and Vendors.
  • Other related duties as assigned. 


Minimum 5 years of previous supervisory and/or experience in Hotel Housekeeping preferred.
