Provides direction and leadership to Pool Staff. Responsible for monitoring Pool facilities ensuring positive and friendly customer relations. Observes all activity within assigned areas offering assistance and instruction to guests/visitors. Exert physical effort in transporting horizontally, carts weighing up to 80 lbs. Vertically and horizontally move items up to 20 lbs. 6 feet above ground. Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Reach 36 inches overhead. Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding. Use sight to perform job functions. Smell to ensure product quality and safety. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned pool areas. Check and Review departmental mailbox. Complete Supervisor Check List. Inspect Pool areas. Assume responsibilities of Manager, when applicable. Perform Attendant’s Job, when applicable. Maintain and follow OSHA Regulations/MSDS. Maintain current Certification in Lifeguard training and CPR Cards. Maintain pool Inventory. Maintain Log Book. Document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently EXPERIENCE: Essential High school graduate or equivalent. Current Certification in Lifeguard training and CPR Cards Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal. Provide legible communication and directions. Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers). Ability to: perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. prioritize, organize and follow up. Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement. Follow directions thoroughly.
