Hotel Training Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide complete training of all positions within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Must be highly energetic with an inherent positive personality.
  • All training is done so with an emphasis in accordance with the companies Guest Service Policy, as well as the company’s and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensures that during training and beyond, that strict guidance is maintained with all new hires within the department and is followed, adhered to and properly documented and filed and maintained in employee files.
  • Greet all new hires, post orientation to inform of the next steps required.
  • Guide new hires through the hiring process, ensuring that all required forms and requests are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provides guided room and property tours to ensure complete knowledge of all aspects of property are properly trained.
  • Provides ongoing and consistent monitoring of Front Desk Agents to ensure quality of service is being provided. Coordinates with Management on proper review of such monitors with Agents in accordance to departmental guidelines.
  • Monitors the progress of new hires with regard to their respective positions and provides input, additional training, and feedback regarding their progress, including a 30/60/85 day review with each new hire.
  • Conducts specialty training within assigned areas as prescribed by Management.
  • Perform the duties of a Front Desk Agent and Supervisor as requested by management.
  • Flexibility in schedule is essential in that training may occur on any day and on any shift.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

2 to 3 years experience as a Hotel Supervisor.
