SUMMARY:           

Responsible for performing the following tasks for  Affinity Gaming in all forms of marketing.  Assists in various marketing efforts, maintains records and monitors deadlines on purchased media and processes invoices.  Assists Marketing Manager with property signage and in coordinating various other marketing and advertising projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Traffic all print, broadcast, out-of-home and on-line materials including traffic instructions and shipping instructions.
  • Initiate and track marketing projects from approval, to traffic, to billing reconciliation.
  • Remains in daily contact with all internal & external representatives to stay aware of any advertising opportunities, revisions or scheduling changes.  Monitor deadlines for all planned media/marketing projects.
  • Maintain organized records of all production orders by month.
  • Maintain production billing records.
  • Assist in maintaining competitive information including media spending and creative execution.
  •  Assist in maintaining “media calendar” summaries, by month.
  • Maintain up-to-date mechanical specs book/files.
  • Maintain up-to-date traffic book to monitor material deadlines daily.
  • Work with vendors to ensure signage and collateral delivered and installed in a timely manner.
  • Screens, processes, facilitates and escorts various external film crews that submit requests for shooting film on property.  
  • Maintains entertainment, restaurant and other venue information up-to-date.
  • Assist with ensuring that all on-property collateral is posted in a timely manner.
  • Assist with maintenance of property collateral, including signage, rack cards, etc.
  • Assists with various marketing clerical duties as needed.
  • Assists with various social media duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to communicate thoughts effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.  Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • An ability to work well with others and a strong personality are important in dealing with outside vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Able to multi-task & work in a fast paced environment.
  • Details & results oriented.
  • Must have all documents required for work in the, also required to have a valid drivers license.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Position requires a minimum of high school degree or equivalent along with relevant marketing experience.
