Site Manager, Instruction - NYC SEED

TNTP seeks a full-time Site Manager - Instruction for the NYC SEED Team. This position may be based in a home office in or around the NYC area with a preference for applicants based in New York City, and is available immediately. This role requires being on-site in New York City multiple days per week, and travel up to 40% annually is required.

Staff on TNTP's Client Team work alongside teachers, school leaders, districts and states to help them achieve their goals for students. In New York City, we are partnering with the New York City Department of Education to build a cutting-edge teacher preparation program aimed at increasing the number of diverse and highly effective teachers for students in high-need subject areas. We will support the NYCDOE in designing and implementing a rigorous program that will meet the needs of its highest need student populations.
What You’ll Do
The Site Manager, Instruction will work with our clients in New York City to design and implement a teacher pipeline and training program aimed to raise the quality of classroom instruction for the highest priority subject areas and student populations, including developing teachers into their most effective selves – through consulting with program leadership at the NYC DOE to develop innovative and practice based online coursework, developing a team of coaches who coach program participants to meet ambitious performance goals, preparing and executing a high-quality teacher training program, and sustaining lasting change by ensuring the NYC DOE can manage all program components independently and improve the quality of program participants over time.

TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance based bonus.
