Maintenance Administrative Assistant

Solairus is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Maintenance department.  As a member of our Maintenance team in Petaluma, CA, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for aiding the department in daily tasks and larger projects. We are willing to train the right candidate for this position. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong computer skills and can adapt to learning new systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

• Track revision status of company and technical manuals
• Edit, update and revise company manuals as needed
• Organize and maintain a database of manuals and aircraft records
• Data entry
• Ordering and issuing manuals
• Upkeep of vendor lists, contact lists, training records and manual revisions
• Various projects and general support as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / GED, Two year degree preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Software, experienced with Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Comfortable working with various systems, databases and technical programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in organizing and performing detail-oriented and timely duties and functions
• Must be reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
• Two years of equivalent experience preferred
