Seasonal Marathon Junction Positions 2018

We are searching for candidates aspiring to be part of a team dedicated to providing residents with safe, enjoyable experiences.  If you are a passionate, energized individual who enjoys working with the public, one of the positions listed below may be perfectly suited for you.

Candidates will use this application to apply for any of the positions described below.

**The season begins in April/May and ends September 30th.  Some Seasonal Laborers may continue to mid November if needed and available.** 

**Employees will work approximately 40 hours per week.  Hours include weekends.**

**Minimum 18 years of age required.** 



PARK MANAGER:  Supervise personnel, assign and review work, evaluate performance, recommend personnel actions, inspect work site, supervise in-service training, maintain daily receipt records and make daily deposits, issue work orders for site or equipment maintenance, operate a County vehicle, order supplies, sign for deliveries, perform seasonal laborer duties as needed. Position requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license with a good driving record, at least 18 years of age, successful completion of the Marathon County Health Department Food Handlers certification, and one year supervisory experience.

SEASONAL LABORER, MARATHON JUNCTION:  Position requires a valid driver's license with a good driving record and at least 18 years of age.  



All employees may be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Maintain a clean, safe program environment.
  • Operate an amusement train accordig to established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and serve all menu items in accordance with established food safety standards and procedures.
  • Operate a cash register.
  • Maintain accurate records associated with assigned duties.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Set up tables and chairs for special events and/or rental groups.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work extra hours if needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe, clean environment.

  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow safety rules.
  • Skill in actively looking for ways to improve service to residents and meet their needs efficiently.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work culture that fosters excellent cusomter service and teamwork.
