Description

JOB SUMMARY: Integer is looking for a eContent Copywriter to grow our client’s brands, help drive qualified traffic to our product pages, and promote consumer sales through informative, highly-converting product page content. This individual needs to be an excellent writer who can translate “marketing speak” into “consumer speak”. Working with a team of designers, art directors, SEO specialists, UX content strategists, the eContent Copywriter is a key contributor at developing a strong product page content strategy. The eContent Copywriter must understand the competitive space by evaluating what is best-in-class on Amazon and other online retailers. Integer’s product page content is written so that shoppers become buyers by either skimming content for relevant information or reading each section carefully for all important information. The eContent Copywriter uses available assets such as client-supplied marketing copy, product packaging, demo videos, sales sheets and more to develop compelling content. The eContent Copywriter is resourceful and able to research the web to find relevant information and inspiration for content due to limited assets.

Responsibilities:

● Translates brand creative direction and copy points into engaging and effective content

● Works closely with product managers, brand strategists, digital marketers and designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style

● Writes English copy for online retailers, digital communications, landing pages, advertising and media

● Researches, collects data and understands the consumer decision tree for our client’s products

● Develops tone of voice for global marketing copy in English

● Proof-reads and corrects other English copy written within the Creative Services team

● Works with the conversion optimization and SEO experts to improve copywriting and search

● Communicates consumer packaged goods features and benefits in clear, concise ways to a shopper audience

● Writes content focused on converting an audience to buyers

 

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related degree required

● 2-3 years of professional experience writing copy, preferably an ad agency or marketing department

● Experience writing copy for consumer packaged goods and digital media

● Fluency in English, both verbal and written, with professional experience writing, editing and communicating in English for the US market

● Good understanding of buyer personas

● Ability to write copy that converts prospects to buyers

● Solid knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

● Strong organizational skills

● Strong attention to detail

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires working on multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meeting deadlines with high-quality work products

● Must have a passion for creatively telling stories with great use of language

● Strong interest in eCommerce and online retailers

● A background in SEO is preferred but not required however the candidate should have a strong desire to learn more about the discipline

● Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

● Flexibility to work extra hours with little to no prior notice

● Ability to travel
