JOB SUMMARY:  The Digital Commerce Account Director’s primary role is to provide leadership and direction of eComm interactive/e-retail team projects. Provides strategic leadership to the client’s integrated and e-retail marketing programs. Responsible for financial, leadership and managerial responsibility for the account and ensures the agency is prepared to meet all client marketing, timeline and budget needs.

The Account Director is responsible for growing the client’s business and there fore must be passionate about their career, committed to delivering excellence and dedicated to the development and advancement of the team and the client.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates an environment, standard and vision for the development, sell-in and delivery of great work.

  • Oversees project work for client including but not limited to eRetail assignments

  • Oversees production of product

  • Develops briefs in conjunction with offline account teams and clients.

  • Works with the digital production team to develop project scope of work documents, timelines, etc. 

  • Manages client relationships, leads client presentations and leads internal teams.

  • RWO’s

  • Conference Reports

  • Scheduling internal and external meetings

  • SYS’s

  • Provides written presentations and engage members as appropriate

  • Manages internal and external client expectations, anticipating issues with process with the ability to resolve effectively and efficiently

Contributes to the creative component of projects:

  • Responsible for quality and completeness of the creative brief/work order

  • Excels at evaluation of creative from strategic perspective

  • Ensures team is presenting creative in compelling and convincing manner

  • Ensures all creative work presented to clients is on strategy and meets Integer standards of excellence

Financial Management:

  • Ensures accurate management of billing between team and digital production group

  • Proactively works with client and producers to develop budget for projects

  • Ensures team delivers agency estimates that are accurate and up to date as necessary as job progresses

  • Ensures all projects stay within budget

Increase Knowledge and Relationship Building

  • Provides strategic consulting to agency teams to integrate holistic programs

  • Contributes to team by providing effective “people development”

  • Conducts research in the digital and eRetail space

  • Monitors trends and development in interactive design/development by reading trade publications and conducting research. Presents findings back to the team.

  • Builds relationships with eRetailers to improve the way TIG concepts and delivers strategies and thinking to our clients in the eRteail space

  • Builds relationships with key client teams to ultimately bring more digital business to our group

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 8+ years of professional service experience with regular client contact in a marketing or advertising environment

  • 5+ years previous management experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing or advertising environment required

  • Previous Amazon experience preferred

  • Excellent understanding of and ability to conceptualize an integrated marketing mix (advertising, promotion, retail, eCommerce, eShopper marketing, packaging, digital, media, PR etc.)

  • Exceptional ability to lead and inspire a team

  • Strong ability to recognize and develop creative ideas

  • Excellent professional, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Highly collaborative

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented - must demonstrate attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks/projects

  • Solution-oriented

  • Positive attitude towards the role, the department, agency and its clients

  • Enthusiastic team player who takes ownership of tasks and seeks out additional responsibilities

  • Participates in agency events and training

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexibility to work extra hours with little to no prior notice

  • Ability to travel
