The Integer Group is seeking a Creative Director for our Dallas office. The Creative Director’s primary role is to provide creative leadership that builds the client’s business at retail. This position is focused on CPG/shopper marketing and category specific promotions with a design or copy background which includes senior-level contributions to ensure that the talent, work processes and all necessary support materials and systems are in place to develop strategically sound, award winning, and exceptionally creative concepts and products.
The CD fosters a creative environment that push the creative team in both concept and execution, provides strategic leadership to the team by working on group and individual development, cultivates an integrated marketing approach to a client’s business and assumes a direct-line leadership role by integrating cross-agency departments and guiding/leading day-to-day client creative relationship.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsibility for, and supervision of, a creative team with the common goal of gaining/maintaining productive relationships through the creation of materials that produce consistently dramatic results for our clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
25% Contributes to project success by managing a team of people that contains a varying mix of Associate Creative Directors, Senior Art Directors, Art Directors, Junior Art Directors, Senior Copywriters, Copywriters and interns.
20% Provides project leadership by exhibiting strong conceptual abilities on all creative/marketing platforms including promotions, point of sale, digital/social, 2D/3D, advertising, television, radio and collateral with a mastery in retail/shopper marketing
10% Provides strategic leadership by assessing the “big picture” for the client’s short- and long-term business goals from a creative and strategic standpoint.
10% Cultivates leadership of cross-functional teams by providing a “bridge” between the creative and account staff, by being involved in strategic planning with the Account Director and Insight & Strategy. The goal is to have a common ground for evaluation of all jobs throughout the year.
10% Assumes leadership of a creative project by full responsibility for analyzing projects each phase of the job (presentation, photo shoot, video, radio, production, etc.) and assigning the proper employees and providing Creative vision and guidance on all projects.
Ensures quality standards are met by being responsible for the final creative product of every project in the group.
Functions as creative expert by having the ability to access and assess current trends in retail, promotions, illustration, photography, digital, account specific industries and evaluate appropriate fit for each client and keeping involved an up to date on trends.
Grows profitability by serving as part of a core team, building strong client relationships for existing or new business and cultivates client relationship through ability to present to clients and build a professional and interpersonal relationship with clients.
Contributes to team maintenance and growth by acting as a resource for team dynamics, personal problem solving, and a sounding board for career and personal advancement. Evaluates team members’ performance on a yearly basis, including recommendations for promotions, bonuses, raises, training or termination.
Informs and consult with CEO, COO and senior management team regarding topline strategies and direction of jobs whenever necessary.
