We’re looking for an Account Director to lead a key piece of business in our Denver, Colorado office.  This Account Director role is responsible for strategic thought leadership, big idea development and integrated marketing communications plans with a focus on digital.  This Director would also be responsible for leading a cross-functional, multi-agency team.
Responsibilities include:
  • Proven ability to grow business 
  • Develop and own key relationships that build trust-based partnerships with Clients
  • Ability to lead a large integrated Agency team towards insight driven, holistic “big ideas”
  • Strategic thought leadership
  • Demonstrate a broad and deep understanding of the client’s industry and agency business
  • Expertly convert brand & shopper insights into big ideas that drive consumer affinity and retail sales  
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of key retail channels and their shoppers
  • Inspire, challenge and manage the agency team in the development and presentation of all client-facing materials
  • Manage day-to-day agency team dynamics to ensure smooth collaboration and effective idea generation 
  • Develop and direct the professional growth of all Account Supervisors and Account Executives with particular emphasis on leadership, strategic thinking and management/training skills
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • 8+ years of strategic marketing and management experience
  • Experience in leading big idea campaign development
  • Above-the-line Agency experience while working within an integrated Agency model
  • Food and Beverage experience is a plus
  • Digital marketing experience (including social and mobile) is a plus
  • Ability to effectively present and sell ideas to senior clients
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with client and cross-functional team
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team
  • Extensive travel is required
