We are looking for an  Account Director  to join our team in  Des Moines, IA .   Over the past decade, Des Moines has emerged as a highly educated and productive city, now consistently listed among the greatest cities in America, including #1 Place for Businesses and Careers (Forbes, 2013) and #1 City for Families (Kiplinger, 2012).  As a member of the Integer team, you’d have the opportunity to work in a great city and do so at one of the country’s leading agencies.
 
The  Account Director  is responsible for driving all matters surrounding Account, including fostering an environment of creative growth, delivering insight & strategy that brings forth successful solutions for our clients, and providing dynamic leadership to keeps our teams on the forefront of today’s rapidly changing market.  We seek a smart, highly motivated individual capable of leading and developing our teams across the following key areas:
 
Building and Maintaining Client Relationships
  • Becoming an active partner with our clients by understanding their business needs as well as they do, communicating effectively, and challenging pre-existing conditions to maximize results on their behalf
  • Continually building upon existing market knowledge in order help the client move forward with well planned and well executed campaigns
Financial Planning & Responsibility
  • Identifying opportunities to maximize profitability through careful cost-awareness and overview of project plans
  • Assuming responsibility for the financial health of all works in progress
  • Improving upon current understanding of finances surrounding all projects
Insight & Strategy
  • Through close work with planners, attaining understanding of all areas surrounding the client’s business strategy, from competition to critical financial data and marketing plans
  • Demonstrating exceptional problem solving abilities that will successfully move the client’s incentives forward, from planning stages through completion
  • Acquiring full knowledge of the account and any new business so as to never miss an opportunity for growth
Fostering an Environment of Creative Excellence
  • Maintaining close working relationships with  planners,  creative directors and other subject matter experts   to ensure continued growth and increasing quality
  • Providing active leadership, which allows teams to achieve great innovation and creativity in their work without compromising integrity and excellence
  • Delivering inspiration and clear direction daily while always considering the long-term goals of all projects
Building and Leading the Team
  • Within the team environment, exuding exceptional professionalism, integrity and dependability
  • Setting a standard of excellence across the creative, account leadership, and planning teams
  • Effectively managing and delegating all matters of business with clear communication and panache
  • Assesses and assembles teams that work well together
Our ideal candidate will possess:
  • BS or BA in marketing and/or advertising
  • 10+ years experience at either an advertising agency or in the client-side marketing position
  • Ideal candidate will have an understanding of building trade professionals such as builders, remodelers or architects 
  • Preference is for an individual with B2B marketing or communications experience. Added plus is someone who has experience with CRM, in bound marketing or challenger sales programs 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and develop high performance teams
  • Demonstrated experience with developing strategy and presentations to sell new programs and initiatives
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills and Microsoft Office skills
