Description

Integer is looking for an Assistant Controller in our Denver, CO headquarters. 

JOB SUMMARY: Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the Denver Consolidated P&L and balance sheet including the review of the F/S, compilation of F/S analysis, and month end close responsibilities. 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Management of cost centers  including budgeting, forecasting and booking adjusting entries
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and review of staff accountant's reconciliations
  • Loading F/S into the HFM consolidation system and completion of monthly and quarterly supporting schedules and tie-outs between the systems  
  • Performing Financial Statement analysis including budget to actuals and year-over-year analysis
  • Running the day-to-day close and forecasting process
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast package for all G&A expenses and regularly track progress against the forecast
  • Preparation of budget/forecast to actuals reporting and analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all the agency cost center directors, including providing any training necessary and obtaining the necessary knowledge to understand fluctuations in expenses from month-to-month
  • Direct support of several cost centers including maintaining the forecasts and assisting the Agency owners with Financial support
  • Assist with the implementation and design of various financial systems including maintenance of our general ledger system and our Cognos instance for forecasting
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and Finance team with possible management of the staff accountant
  • Involvement in projects or assignments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or Masters in accounting
  • 5-7 years experience
  • CPA Preferred, MBA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel, and the ability to learn various financial systems and administrative applications
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Strong Analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to work overtime with little advance notice
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimum amount of supervision
