We are have an opportunity for a Transformation Analyst to support the Business Transformation Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all activities related to the Transformation Program Office (TPO). The Analyst assists in the coordination of all required Finance department activities related to the Transformation Program Office and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the ‘analyst’ from his/her functional area to provide SME with analysis/feedback on the implementation of new business processes that align and support the enterprise vision.
  • Consult with the Finance department on issues, results from new business processes.
  • Support SME in organizational change management activities
  • Work with project staff, including Business Analysts, QA staff and documentation writers to communicate functionality and resolve issues.
  • Work with the Business Analyst, testing resources and project staff to ensure test cases and scenarios provide test coverage for all requirements; assist with the authoring and development of test scenarios.
  • Participate in testing solution(s).
  • Participate in User Acceptance activities.
  • Participate in implementation, training and roll-out activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, program/project managers, consultants and senior staff members.

Skills & Experience:

  • Business process knowledge within the Finance/Accounting functional area
  • Good knowledge of Office Tools (MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Able to analyse and report on business process change metrics
  • Consider the big picture when reporting on business process changes   
  • Comfortable and effective in eliminating barriers and working across organizational, functional boundaries to achieve corporate objectives
  • Ability to adapt in a complex and changing environment
  • Superior communication skills, both written and oral
  • Works effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance conflicting priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player, including taking direction as required, working well with other SME’s and project team members.
  • Exercise initiative and good judgment within established procedural guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, probe, analyze and problem-solve complex issues
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment
