We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Vancouver Shared Services (SSC) departments including; customer service call center, finance and accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry and risk management.


Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, Western Canada, the job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the staffing process including job postings, conducting phone screens and interviews, job fairs and conducting background and reference checks
  • Assist with forecasting of staffing requirements for all departments, most frequently the call center
  • Provide SSC Management team support with the discipline and separation process
  • Coordination of bi-weekly payroll for the Shared Services department
  • Documentation of all employee relations matters
  • Benefits administration
  • Coordination and submission of all Payroll paperwork
  • On-boarding and off-boarding of all SSC employees
  • Produce both regular and on-demand reports on HR related matters including attrition, recruitment, salary surveys, employee engagement, etc.
  • Continuous improvement of SSC HR programs
  • Completes other human resources projects as necessary

Skills and experience required for this position include:

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Appropriate post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a combination of a similar education and experience;
  • Exceptional organizational skills;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Social Media channels as part of the recruitment process is an asset
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft based applications especially MS Office.
