Role Summary

We require a Media coordinator to provide administrative, meta-data and quality control support to the busy content operations team. The media Coordinators will be expected to have a wide range of responsibilities across a variety of content tasks and general duties. The precise mix and balance of tasks/responsibilities will vary from Co-coordinator to Co-coordinator depending on the teams supported and client requirements. Key tasks would be maintaining entries in databases, managing and uploading metadata using online tools and general content management using Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and to have the initiative to take ownership in find proactive solutions. Experienced in handling large amounts of data and data entry skills, whilst being able to identify outcomes and liaise results between teams, working closely with our client EL Al airlines.

Key Responsibilities

·        Metadata Management

·        Input of metadata to online Content Management Systems

·        Video/Audio filename creation (to integrator spec) and supply to internal and external departments

·        Metadata Management (data entry/manipulation/validation)

·        Image processing using Photoshop (crop/resize/colour mode/file format)

·        Input of metadata to online Content Management Systems

·        Structure/arrangement of GUI via Content Management Systems including disclaimer/ident/advert/promo placement

·        Creation of Status Sheets/CTRs/SDS files (Excel format)

·        Quality Control of all published data for GEE clients

·        Full testing and reporting back of any issues to the relevant team 

•    Co-ordination with Internal Teams for timely delivery of metadata documentation


·        Educated to A ‘level or equivalent

·        Previous experience in an administrative role

·        Experience in using MS Office package, with advanced Excel skills

Areas of interest and intrinsic competencies

·        Ability to provide error free work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

·        The ability to build long term internal working relationships 

·        Excellent written and verbal communication in English

·        A basic technical understanding of digital video and encoding file formats

·        Effective time management and multi-tasking skills

·        High level of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology and software

·        The ability to react quickly and constructively to troubleshoot problems
