Customer Service Representative

Description

Job Summary :  The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working with customers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Create optimal front line customer relations, working with customers from specific regions of the country, thereby ensuring continued company growth and goal achievement.
  • Coordinate all facets of customer freight shipments including booking freight, answering customer calls and assisting sales with preparation of customer rate quotes.
  • Find available trucks by calling drivers and or talking with Fleet Managers about available loads.
  • Perform special assignments as delegated.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment, handle heavy call volumes, make numerous outbound calls.
  • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
  • 6-12 months experience in the transportation industry or other relevant field.
  • GED or HS Diploma required.Associates or Bachelors in a relevant field preferred
