Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Training Coordinator facilitates the design and implementation of the Revenue Cycle training program for the Revenue Cycle end users at Revere Health.  This position is responsible for all Revenue Cycle Training.  This includes assessing current approaches and recommending improved processes.  The Coordinator will guide and direct our current and expanding workforce by creating a solid foundation of knowledge specific to each Revenue Cycle position. This position will serve as a critical resource in supporting the organization’s goal to provide quality patient care, outstanding customer service and resolution of patient accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing an education program for the Revenue Cycle team to assure effective training of the end users in the use of all Revenue Cycle software and systems.
  • Develop an overall training strategy and schedule.
  • Ensure all Revenue Cycle end users are properly trained and able to demonstrate proficiency in the electronic health record system and registration/billing system prior to gaining access to the production environments.
  • Oversee development and coordination of training materials.
  • Lead training sessions on each of the applicable Revenue Cycle systems utilized within the clinic.
  • Ensure all training classes are scheduled and facilitated to ensure effective use of time and resources.
  • Facilitate follow-up training to new employees to better resolve questions and concerns after on-the-job experience.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal departments to more accurately provide training support.
  • Develop continuing education plans to enhance Revenue Cycle workforce productivity.
  • Provide leadership skills and valuable insight to enhance training protocols and outlines.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in a teaching or training setting. Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and models. Prior Revenue Cycle systems training experience would be strongly preferred.
  • Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of leading employees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.  Can problem-solve.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Previous work experience demonstrating strong work ethic, ability to be a self-starter, proactive approach to relationship management and ability to communicate complex issues
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Healthcare experience a plus.
