Position:   Outreach Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Department Cardiology

Location Various Cities

 

Qualifications: 

  • Successful completion of National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or successful completion of National Certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Must hold licensure/certification as required by the state of Utah including DEA number.
  • Candidate must be a motivated, hardworking individual
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Ability to travel with your own vehicle (Mileage Reimbursed)
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be able to work both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Previous Cardiology training and background experience preferred

Description Full time Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for a busy Cardiology office located in either Sevier, Sanpete, Carbon, or Duchesne Counties, working with Cardiologists and treating patients.

Job duties include:

  • Providing medical care and treatment to patients, under prescribed guidelines and direction of physician.
  • Perform physical exams
  • Collect and document data
  • Conduct approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Order relevant diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe appropriate interventions and medications
  • Contribute to excellent patient care
  • Ideal candidate would be a motivated, hardworking individual.
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work both individually and as a part of a team.

Hours:  Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
