Qualifications: Excellent computer and customer service skills. Must be great with people, with the ability to interact with a lot of different personalities. Must be friendly and outgoing and have a go-with-it attitude. Candidate will need strong communications skills, both written and oral and have excellent telephone etiquette with the ability to work in a very busy, fast-paced environment. High school diploma and one-year experience in customer service, preferably in a health care but not required.
Description : Must be available to work 8 am to 8 pm Monday – Friday when needed. No guaranteed schedule, this is an on call position.
Job duties include being able to maintain an efficient work flow at the reception desk while answering a busy multi-line phone system, scheduling patient appointments, putting in messages, faxing, updating patient charts, answering patient questions, balancing the end of day reports, other duties as assigned. Must be able to work in a busy high stress environment, pay attention to every small detail and be accurate. A professional image is required at all times. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, but also be a team player and work well with staff.
