Qualifications:  Busy medical office is seeking a part time receptionist who is highly motivated, outgoing, friendly to provider excellent customer service  to patients.   2 years customer service experience required, preferably in a medical office. Able to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.   Must be great with people, with the ability to interact with a lot of different personalities, have a positive attitude and strong communications skills both written and oral are required. Must have excellent telephone etiquette, and computer skills able to work with several different programs at once.  Able to work in a very busy fast paced environment.  Ideal candidate is punctual, organized, possess good time management skills, exhibits professionalism in dress and in language. Punctuality and reliability are imperative, must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, but also be a team player and work well with staff. Office hours are Monday -Friday 7:45 to 6 and Saturday's 7:40 am to 4:00 pm. currently looking for Tuesday's, Thursday's and some Saturday's. 

Description Job duties include:  Maintain an efficient work flow at the reception area, answering a busy multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, checking in and rescheduling patients, collecting payments, selling of meal replacement products, tasking, faxing, updating patient charts, verify insurance eligibility, sending pre-registration to patients, cleaning lobby and reception area, balancing the end of day reports. Other duties not assigned.
