CARE Canada is currently seeking a Manager of Regional Development for the Western Canada region.
The Manager of Regional Development will manage CARE Canada’s major gifts efforts in Western Canada, including provinces west of Ontario and the Territories. The Regional Manager is responsible for cultivating, soliciting and stewarding individual donors, as well as regional foundations and corporations, with support from the Ottawa Headquarters. This individual also manages the Vancouver Council for CARE Canada and the annual Vancouver Walk In Her Shoes event.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Manager of Regional Development for Western Canada works alongside and with support from other members of the Development Team in CARE Canada’s Partnerships for Global Change Unit based in CARE Canada’s head office in Ottawa. This position is home-based, preferably near Vancouver or Victoria, and will require up to 25% of travel within Canada.
