CARE has been continuously active in Yemen since 1993, delivering broad-scale sustained impact on poverty and social justice through a portfolio of development and humanitarian projects. These have evolved from basic relief efforts and reconstruction after the civil war in 1994, to long-term projects and since 2015 have focused on providing humanitarian aid to women, men, boys and girls affected by the triple crises of war, famine and hunger that Yemen is facing.
CARE is seeking a Program Development Coordinator (PDC) ito lead and and coordinate the Country Office's program design and development in collaboration with the Deputy Program Director and the Program units. The PDC contributes significantly to the Country Office's commitment to quality programming by identifying and mobilizing resources, maintaining donor relations, leading and coordinating the design of new projects, in addition to contributing to strategic planning, representing CARE in internal and external fora, building the capacity of program staff, and contributing to learning and knowledge management.
