Records Specialist

Nebraska Families Collaborative (NFC) is currently seeking a Records Specialist to perform routine clerical duties following established methods and procedures relating to the creation, management and closing of paper and electronic records. Pulls and prepares case records for oversight activities, assembles and routes records, assists with correspondence requests and data entry, scans documents and maintains and retrieves hard files maintained in records storage as needed. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft office products to include preparing letters and emails

  • Ability to use printer/scanner/fax machine.

  • Ability to provide customer service effectively through answering customer questions and providing information in a timely manner.


  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Typing speed of 30 wpm.

  • High attention to detail to identify, avoid and rectify errors.

  • Ability to effectively work with NFC staff and various organizations.

  • Data entry experience.

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
