 POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for assisting in setting up an in-house logistics and inventory system for training courses and labs. The position will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Ability to precisely construct components for lab equipment with little to no supervision
  • Ability work with technical and specification drawings to produce required lab equipment
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Data Entry: primarily in the ProfEd data base
  • Process training requests from the field sales team (create courses)
  • Complete courses & attendee status for training
  • General data entry as directed from the ProfEd coordinators
  • Support Professional Education coordinators with miscellaneous course tasks: duplicate thumb drives, assemble name tags etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, proactive, intuitive, organized and deadline oriented
  • Ability to work with animal and or cadaveric tissue including, but not limited to bovine and porcine tissue
  • An up to date Vaccination record is required to be able to work in the service area

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current forklift certification
  • Bachelor’s/Associates degree
  • Vaccinations as required to be able to work with cadaveric tissue and animal tissue

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
  • Ability to work on your feet, for the duration of a shift, in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to regularly bend and push/pull
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift up to 70 pounds 
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Clean driving record - Ability to be placed on AtriCure insurance policy to be able to drive company van or rental vehicles
