Position Summary:

Candidate must have solid Project Management, Medical Device & Cardiology (Atrial Fibrillation) background.  This is a 6-month contract, able to start right away.  The position is in-house Mason, Ohio (not remote, must come into the office every day).  Travel to sites would be little to none.  

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring start-up & execution of a “Must Win” Global (USA & EU) IDE Trial at AtriCure, Inc.  Study will adhere to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/EU Directive, and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.  Study must be conducted according to the timeline, budget and objectives set forth by the AtriCure Clinical Department.  The Senior Clinical Project Manager role is primarily a tactical study delivery role, reporting into a Director. 



  • BA or BS degree required, in the Sciences is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years PM experience required.
  • Medical Device experience required.
  • Cardiology background required.
  • Global trial experience required.



  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience working in Sponsor preferred.
