Description

The Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center is currently looking for Boating Instructors to teach Sailing, Windsurfing, Paddling, StandUp, and Rowing. The Center is a public boating facility with Seattle Parks and Recreation.  FUN is our mantra! 

We have immediate needs for adult instructors in all sports. Applicants must have a passion for teaching, excellent communication and organizational skills, experience in at least one of the disciplines offered at Mount Baker. Please see our website at mbrsc.org for our full range of offerings.  

 

Location:        Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, 3800 Lake Washington Boulevard South, Seattle WA 98118

Schedule:      Variable 

Start Date:     Immediately

End Date:      Thursday, August 31, 2017

Pay Range:    $16.00 - $18.00 hourly

 

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • Experience in sailing/rowing/paddling, and certification in a related field 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have First Aid/CPR certification 
  • Must have valid WA state driver's license 
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
  • Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard

 

This is a part-time, summer, and non-benefited position.
