Youth Origami Instructor

ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is looking for a Youth Origami Instructor to share their talents with the community. Instructor will develop and deliver weekly lessons to elementary age children. Ideal candidate will demonstrate fun and maturity with a strong capacity for class behavior management.
This instructor will be responsible for teaching an origami class to students age 6-11, focusing on basic skills, techniques, and designs of the art of Japanese paper folding. Additionally, the instructor must have the ability to engage children and manage a classroom of students working with food. Creativity, patience, and a love for teaching is a must!
Location: Hazel Wolf K-8 Elementary School (Northgate Community Center)
Schedule: Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm
Start date: Immediately
End date: Wednesday, April 5, 2017
Pay range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
