Description

The Loyal Heights Community Center's Preschool Program is seeking a dynamic and engaging Lead Teacher for our preschool class.

The Preschool Lead Teacher will work with children in the ages 3-4 or Pre-K classroom to provide a great way to prepare children for kindergarten in a safe and nurturing environment.

 

Schedule:

  • Monday – Thursday 9:00am-1:30pm
  • Schedule/hours subject to change based on program needs, including during the summer months

 

Basic Duties:

  • Daily operation of the preschool which includes building a safe and nurturing environment, developing and delivering program, care and custody of participants, and supervise and evaluate assistants as necessary
  • Point of contact with participating families
  • Working with Preschool Director and Staff to coordinate activities and events such as open houses
  • Other duties as assigned by the Preschool Director 

 

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • At least two years experience leading activities and working with this age group
  • Ability to work well and communicate with young children and their parents
  • Ability to plan age-appropriate engaging activities
  • First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
  • Must sign up for direct deposit with either checking or savings account or Payroll Paycard

 

This is a part-time, year round, and non-benefited position.
