The Fuels Analyst is responsible for the administration of NS Power’s fuel inventory management software and the processing of fuel payments to vendors. They will maintain a positive relationship with plant staff to ensure fuel transactions for solid and liquid fuels are captured and reported correctly.
Responsibilities include reconciling fuel deliveries, ensuring consumption data is properly recorded, making timely and accurate payments to vendors, and investigating any variances. The successful candidate will work closely with plant staff on issues they encounter using NS Power’s fuel inventory management software. Some after-hours work and travel within Nova Scotia may be required.
The Fuels Analyst works within the Fuels-Finance group as a bridge between Plant Operations and Finance to ensure transactions are properly reported for inclusion within financial processes.
