For nearly thirty years, International Studies Abroad (ISA) (a division of WorldStrides) has provided college students in the United States and Canada the opportunity to explore the world. ISA offers a wide variety of study abroad programs at accredited schools and universities in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, England, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Peru, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, The Netherlands and Vietnam.
The Alumni Relations Coordinator position is a U.S.-based member of the ISA team who is tasked with managing a large group of Global Ambassadors (ISA alumni brand ambassadors) to create brand awareness and generate leads culminating in the growth of ISA participants throughout US university partner campuses.
The AR Coordinator will work to refine and build upon existing Global Ambassador recruitment strategies, develop and assist in the on on-boarding process, track GA progress, and help update and create new professional development resources.
Processing applications, conducting interviews, and hiring prospective Global Ambassadors
Training and on-boarding Global Ambassadors on ISA programs and best practices for campus recruitment
Managing Global Ambassadors through various avenues (Monthly check-ins, virtual form processing, learning management system, etc.)
Facilitating GA engagement with ISA Global Ambassador Badge Program
Processing time sheets twice a year
Professional development support for alumni (i.e. resume and cover letter review, mock interviews, etc.)
Cross-departmental projects (Academic Affairs, University Partnerships, Marketing, etc.)
Responding to general alumni@ inquiries
Emailing GA leads from post-program evaluations
Planning and implementation of GA Workshop
Coordinating GA spot recruitment
Covering on-campus recruiting for University Partnerships (domestic travel)
Collaborating with University Partnerships for re-entry and professional development conferences
Updating alumni and GA resources such as virtual forms, the website, online orientation, learning management system, etc.
Entry and analysis of data
Other duties as assigned
Experience studying, researching, teaching, or doing service-learning abroad
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service experience
Strong understanding of the International Education field
Experience working on a U.S. college/university campus
Experience studying, living, or working abroad preferred
Experience in career development (i.e. reviewing resumes, cover letters, and conducting interviews)
Experience with, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
