We are looking for a motivated, creative and passionate multi-visionary Senior Designer experienced in branding and an emphasis in digital/web design. Working with the design team, you will explore solutions that create visually compelling and engaging brand and storytelling experiences across our channels. The ideal candidate will be able to take the lead on multiple priorities and projects, and work with teams from across our global organization to deliver impactful work and supports our critical mission. to reimagine public health.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Designer will collaborate with the design team to support health professionals and other communications specialists – in public relations, copywriting and social – from ideation to execution. Our ideal candidate is excited to grow with our team and organization, help transform our in-house design capabilities and have passion to bring effective creativity to our work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of designers to help evolve and scale up our brand design system
  •  Plan and conduct design research through planning and facilitating workshops
  • Develop website prototypes, collaboratively designing and testing them with stakeholders
  • Research, interpret and conceptualize visual storytelling web experiences
  • Synthesize and generate visual representations of research findings
  • Boost creativity and collaboration opportunities among the design team and organization
  • Design communications, visual materials and reports as needed
  • Ensure consistency and creativity of projects across all design and visual work
  • Manage and maintain sub-brands as well as provide guidance to scale the brand in different channels
  • Monitor and manage internal and external project and resources to achieve project goals and deadlines
  • Participate in workflow improvements and mentoring interns or staff in good design practices

Ideal Requirements

  • 6+ years of graphic/creative design experience
  • Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Design for Social Impact/Social Innovation or similar)
  • Lead creatively and thrive together to expand our organization’s mission and vision.
  • Work and make design decision in a fast-pace environment
  • Self-motivated multi-tasker willing to learn and be fluid in their work
  • Communicate complex, abstract concepts using both visual, verbal and written language.
  • Experience in creating and/or managing multi-channel brand/social campaigns
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and self-motivated to achieve better and stronger design solutions
