The Position

Vital Strategies is seeking a qualified Performance & Process Improvement manager to join its global operations team. Based in New York City and reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, s/he will set metrics, analyze data, and track progress towards objective goals. The Performance & Process Improvement Manager will work across the sub-groups within the operations department including human resources, finance, and legal.

Specific Duties

  • Document internal processes and operational workflows in law, accounting, and human resources
  • Identify opportunities to refine existing processes or develop better ones
  • Set metrics and analyze data; build dashboards to display goals and progress
  • Recommend process changes to division managers, incorporate their feedback, and facilitate implementation of improved workflows
  • Qualities and Qualifications

  • BA/BS in engineering or related field; MBA or PMP preferred
  • 5+ years of operations experience
  • Knowledge of six-sigma, LEAN strategies, or other project management discipline
  • Experience working on diverse, multidisciplinary teams; international experience a plus
  • Experience designing client surveys and databases
  • Creative thinker who uses innovative ideas to resolve problems
