The Account Sales Specialist is a great role for individuals looking to make the move into Healthcare Device Sales. It is a hybrid position that allows you to learn and contribute to both our operational and sales efforts. You will work closely with the District Sales Representatives, learning at every opportunity in order to fine tune your skills.  It really is the role that crosses the bridge between the Operations and Sales departments. You will earn a base salary plus commission and a car allowance.  The goal for you in this role is personal development and progression toward a District Sales Representative position.  The timeline for the possible transition is determined by performance, company needs and opportunities available. 

To qualify for this role, you must live within or be willing to relocate to one of the 5 boroughs.

You will assist in areas such as: 

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing sales sites
  • Strategically target upselling in existing accounts. Focus on listed new accounts/target to uncover new opportunities as coached by coworkers  and superiors
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
  • Assist in the delivery and setup of equipment as necessary to ensure excellent service to customers
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations and  in-service by studying the type of responsibilities and functions of facility representative
  • Developing sales presentations
  • Territory covers the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Long Island, Brooklyn, and Staten Island 

To qualify for this career opportunity, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must live in one of the five boroughs
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification required
  • Clean driving record
  • Makes compelling presentations to a variety of audiences using visual aids, slide shows, and other media. Is adept at getting the attention and  involvement of  the most sophisticated and difficult audiences
  • Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manages customer expectations
  • Demonstrate ability to grow, develop and advance professionally in knowledge and skill set
